Kitchens

Dream Kitchens Dream Rooms (DKDR) is known for incredible kitchen designs more than we are known for anything else.  We even took second place in a national kitchen design competition in 2011. Our showrooms in Madison and Delafield are amazing and the design teams have more combined experience than any other firms in southern Wisconsin.  If there is any thing that we know for certain it’s how to design and build a dream kitchen.

Dream Kitchens started more than thirty years ago and throughout the years we have grown into ‘Dream Rooms’ by adding people and talent that can design other rooms besides kitchens.  We have also designed and built many homes from the ground up over the years.

But kitchens is where it all started and the dream continues.  DKDR will design large and small kitchens to fit your home and lifestyle.  We’re about people and not everyone lives in a large home.  People live where they live and our staff will work on just about every budget you can think of.  What’s fun for us is that throughout the years new products and technologies add so much excitement to the design process that it’s hard to keep up because everything is incredible.  From built in espresso makers and just released LED under cabinet lighting to drawer style microwave ovens, and the list goes on and on.  All of these technologies make a strong presence in your kitchen and once you see them – you want them to somehow fit into your new kitchen.

Watching all of this happen it’s evident that a kitchen revolution took place and DKDR was right in the middle of it.  The distance you have to travel from an ordinary kitchen of yesterday to a spectacular kitchen of today is short and scenic.  Not only that, styles have become timeless and you can no longer identify a period like the 50′s, 6o’s all the way up to the 80′s any longer.  We’ve all seen them and they’re easily identifiable.  With todays granite tops, beautiful cabinetry and stone walls, a well designed kitchen will last decades.
