The newly refinished herringbone wood flooring adds a layer of texture and heritage beneath it all, bridging contemporary lines with classic craftsmanship.

Multiple new windows help bathe the space in natural light to heighten its open feel. The decision to integrate a Broan pop-up downdraft hood instead of a traditional overhead fixture gifts unobstructed views and an uninterrupted view throughout the space. The homeowners' curated artwork mirrors the bold black-and-white look, while also adding punctuations of color throughout the home.

What could have been a forgotten angled broom closet has instead been transformed into a clever display for spirits and glasses with illuminated floating shelves. The bathroom features low-maintenance Statuario, a marble-look porcelain tile chosen for its easy-to-maintain elegance, paired with a quartz vanity top and warm, walnut cabinetry that echoes the palette found in the kitchen.
