Verdant Suite

What began as a primary suite renovation soon expanded into a holistic transformation of both the bedroom and bath and ultimately, the home’s laundry experience as well. As the design evolved, the homeowners were inspired to incorporate a new laundry pass-through from the primary closet, leading to a fully reimagined laundry room that enhances everyday convenience and workflow.

The design direction for this project leans transitional, striking a thoughtful blend of the homeowner’s unique design sensibilities. Warmth and character come forward through custom bathroom cabinetry crafted in clear alder with a cinnamon stain—a finish carried intentionally throughout the suite onto the beams, fireplace mantle, and doors. These elements bring unity and richness to the private retreat, while modern touches ensure the space feels fresh and sophisticated.

The newly remodeled laundry room introduces a brighter, clean aesthetic with maple cabinetry painted in an elegant Asarum green tone, extended to the wainscoting, trims, and fire door to create a seamless and functional utility space.

Innovation and comfort were equally prioritized. The primary bathroom now features Kohler Anthem digital shower controls, a steam shower with Mr. Steam AirButler wire-free technology, and a heated towel warmer to bring the spa-level experience home. A tray ceiling and beams elevate the architectural feel of the bathroom, while the laundry pass-through integrates daily practicality into this luxurious design.

From the warm alder accents to the crisp custom cabinetry and elevated smart-shower system, this project enhances daily life for our clients through refined comfort, convenience, and timeless appeal.
